RWM and Derbyshire County Cricket Club Announce Partnership
Ryley Wealth Management (RWM) are delighted to announce that we are sponsoring Derbyshire County Cricket Club’s Elite Performance Centre, making a two-year commitment to both the players and fans. RWM CEO and sports enthusiast David Ryley, said: “we are all really pleased to solidify our relationship with Derbyshire County Cricket Club. It’s a great way to get more involved with the local Derbyshire community”.
The stands at the Elite Performance Centre have all been updated with the Ryley Wealth Management blue, white and gold, and the building is now officially to be known as “The Ryley Wealth Elite Performance Centre”. This is another way we can help to support the community; having previously sponsored other local athletes and sporting events including rugby player and RWM Paraplanner Zoe Osborn, who plays for Kesteven Rugby team.
Alongside the sponsorship, we are also joining Derbyshire’s 1870 Business Club, which helps to link local businesses to one another. We hope to become familiar faces at the events and build new connections.
Our sponsorship of the club also extends to Cricketer Anuj Dal, who told us he is looking forward to having Ryley Wealth Management more involved with Derbyshire Cricket Club moving forward: “to have David and RWM as my sponsors is fantastic, and hopefully it’s the continuation of something special.”
Anuj has been playing cricket for as long as he could remember, originally playing for Nottingham until 2018, when he moved to Derbyshire County Cricket Club. He tells us that since moving to Derbyshire, the club couldn’t have been more supportive and have helped to progress him into the cricketer he is today. “I am really fortunate that Derbyshire has one of the most world-renowned coaches in all of cricket, which has been great for me as a player,” he told us.
David first met Anuj through a mutual contact at St. James's Place. When Anuj met David, he was keen to introduce him into his world of cricket and develop the relationship between RWM and Derbyshire Country Cricket Club. Our sponsorship of the Elite Performance Centre is a mark of that commitment to professional cricket players and fans.
