Charity & Community

At Ryley Wealth Management, we believe in making a positive impact beyond our financial services. Our charitable initiatives are designed to foster teamwork and community engagement among our staff, and we take immense pride in giving back to the local community.

One of our initiatives is our charity matching scheme. If an employee raises money for a charitable organisation, Ryley Wealth Management matches 100% of the first £500 raised. This not only doubles the impact of our employees' efforts but also encourages a culture of generosity and social responsibility within our team.

We also offer all staff two volunteering days a month, providing the opportunity to contribute to various community projects. Activities like community gardening and litter picks are enthusiastically embraced by our staff, enhancing their teamwork while making a tangible difference in our surroundings.

In addition to these ongoing initiatives, we make contributions to local food banks twice a year. These large donations are a testament to our commitment to supporting those in need and ensuring that we play an active role in the welfare of our community.

At Ryley Wealth Management, giving back is more than a responsibility—it's a core value that drives us to create a positive impact wherever we can.

We are particularly proud to be founders of the 1% Matters Fund™. David established this initiative in 2015, using 1% of Ryley Wealth Management’s profits to fund small grants for local community projects. Since then, other business leaders have made their own contributions.

The fund supports a number of causes, helping young people, the elderly, and vulnerable people in the local area. Funding is subject to some key criteria:

  • 100% of all donations must go to charitable causes
  • Projects will be carefully assessed to accredited standards
  • Safeguarding checks for all groups and individuals
  • Grants are only awarded where there is real need

The aim is for the 1% Matters Fund™ to become part of a permanent legacy of community support for the people of Nottingham.

Who have we helped?

The first 1% Matters grants have already been awarded, to The Radford Care Group in support of their Friendship Group for Older People, and to two sexual abuse charities: She UK and Mending-UK.
